Honouring two centuries of bravery and innovation, each detailed 50p design depicts a different fire fighting vehicle from history on a background that is befitting of the times, including:

  • 1824 Edinburgh: Depicting a Manual Water Pump on wheels
  • 1845 St Helier: Showing a Tilley 26 Manual Horse-Drawn Cart
  • 1934 London: Including a WWII Dennis Chassis WWII Ladder
  • 1940 Blackpool: Featuring the BRF700 Leyland Fire Engine
  • 1955 Lincoln: Showing a Dennis F12 Pump Escape Vehicle

Each coin has been struck to a Brilliant Uncirculated finish, with the addition of vivid colour to bring each design to life.
