JUST £15: Special Winston Churchill Piedfort issue

Sir Winston Churchill is nothing short of a wartime legend.

On 10 May 1940, he claimed one of the most important jobs in Great Britain. As Hitler’s forces overwhelmed the British position, Churchill utilised political and military tactics, along with spectacular leadership and oration that ultimately lead to the British success in World War II.

It feels only right that he should be honoured on a truly special coin – The Winston Churchill Gold-Plated Piedfort.

Renowned Artistry

The design features a specially commissioned depiction of Sir Winston Churchill along with a soaring Spitfire overhead by renowned artist, David Young.

Due to the magnitude of the person it celebrates, The Mint has struck this coin to a Piedfort specification - that's an impressive DOUBLE THICKNESS.

Special Piedfort Issue

Being double thickness, this coin weighs 50 grams– almost twice as much as the standard specification, and it has also been expertly plated in 24 Carat Gold and struck to a pristine Proof finish.

Proof is the highest grade of finish found on collectable coins. They are produced using a specially prepared die which strikes the coin several times to create a high quality frosted and mirrored finish and enhanced definition.

SECURE YOUR 60% SAVING!

Usually, a coin of such high specification retails at £39.99, however this coin can be exclusively secured for JUST £15 - that's a saving of OVER 60%!
