UK 2023 J.R.R Tolkien BU £2 coin

J.R.R. Tolkien was famed for writing ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘Lord of the Rings’ novels. As an established Oxford university scholar, Tolkien’s imagination and love of languages has produced some of the most popular books and films ever.

And now, in special tribute, a new UK £2 coin has been issued.

  • The design features the Tolkien’s trademark monogram at the centre, alongside a special edge inscription that reads ‘Not all those who wander are lost’ – a quote taken from Tolkien’s book, The Fellowship of the Ring.
  • Struck to a superior Brilliant Uncirculated Quality, meaning it is free of the marks and scratches found on circulating coinage.
  • Features the Martin Jennings portrait of King Charles III
  • Each coin comes in official Royal Mint packaging which details the life and achievements of Tolkien.

Yours at the official price of £13 (+p&p).
