JUST 35 Available: 2009 Henry VIII £5 Coin and Stamp Cover

*** From the Archive – JUST 35 Available ***

Henry VIII had an eventful reign over four decades from 1509 - 1547, overseeing the union of England and Wales in 1535 and founding the Royal Navy.

However he is most well-known for having six wives, two of whom were executed under the charge of treason.

This £5 coin and stamp cover was issued in 2009 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the accession of Henry VIII to the throne. It features the Royal Mint 2009 Henry VIII £5 Coin designed by John Bergdahl and features a recreation of the famous standing portrait of Henry VIII by Hans Holbein.

Alongside the coin, this cover also features a customised label with Royal Mail 1st class stamp, and has been officially postmarked by the Royal Mail on the 1st January 2009.

The one-day-only postmark means that no more can ever be produced. And I have JUST 35 remaining from my archived stock. You'll need to ACT NOW to guarantee yours.
