UK 2021 Silver Proof Birthday £5 Coin
The Royal Mint have issued a Silver Proof £5 coin to celebrate the Queen’s 95th Birthday, and of a tiny edition limit of only 7,595, JUST 95 have been set aside for this collection. Featuring a design by Timothy Noad the word’s “My heart and devotion” appear on the reverse in reference to the Queen’s long service and her famous 1957 Christmas Day speech.
Each coin has been individually struck with the punch hitting the blank several times to create the perfect, flawless Proof finish, and also create maximum contrast between the frosted design and perfect mirror-like background of the coin. It’s this superior quality that makes Proof coins more sought after amongst serious collectors.

The BRAND NEW Silver £5 coin has been set alongside a collection of 1926 dated coins. Each one was struck and has circulated since the year in which the Queen was born, making them 95 years old! These year dated coins are proving to be in incredibly high demand- many of them are struck from .925 Silver, and with the Queen’s imminent birthday they are proving popular worldwide.
Each one has been meticulously sourced, but given the historic nature, precious metal content, and the popularity of these coins among collectors, it has proven very hard to build up a large number.
