Spectacular Murano Glass Poppy Coin marking 100 years of remembrance

At 11am on 11th of November, around the world we will unite in silence to remember our fallen heroes.

And now you have the chance to secure a remarkable, poignant coin that’s a lasting tribute to those we lost. And one that marks the significant centenary year we are now in.

100th anniversary year of Remembrance Day

Normally we’d lead with the coin’s edition limit, its fine silver content or its perfect proof finish. They all apply here too, but they are to miss the point.

From the battlefields there was a notable and striking exception to the bleakness – the bright red poppies.

Importantly, for 100 years the poppy has been synonymous with Remembrance Day. Arguably, this fact alone makes this coin, issued in this milestone anniversary year, the most significant.

Stunning Murano Glass

That’s why the poppy is the star of this coin, and is by far its defining feature.

In pride of place at the coin’s centre is a beautiful, vibrant red poppy that’s been exquisitely hand-sculpted from Murano glass. The fact that each poppy is hand-blown also means each one is unique, meaning no two coins will be the same.

The poppy sits atop a wreath of poppies, engraved with exacting detail. Frosted finishes add definition, making a genuinely moving piece of remembrance art.

Extremely limited, lasting symbol of remembrance

Above all else, this coin is a an extremely limited, and enduring symbol of remembrance. A tribute to our heroes that you can treasure forever.

In fact, just 6,000 coins have been issued.

Murano Glass embellished issues from The Royal Canadian Mint are never available long. Other glass issues have SOLD OUT in record time, including the Autumn Radiance Silver Maple Leaf Coin.

Limited availability

Out of the 6,000 available worldwide very few will make their way to the UK. There are surely not enough coins to satisfy Canadian collectors, let alone collectors around the rest of the globe who will want to mark this significant centenary year.

We have a limited number available for Westminster Collectors, and if you’re quick you can secure one today for JUST £35 (+p&p), followed by 4 further equal interest-free instalments.

With this coin one thing is certain. You will forever remember the fallen.
