Designed by Chris Costello, and struck in Sterling 925/1000 Silver with selective Fine Gold plating, the reverse of the coin features a dramatic interpretation of the Mayflower as it traverses a rough sea with a guiding star in the night sky. The obverse features a portrait of Her Majesty the Queen by renowned Royal Mint engraver Jody Clark.
