Own THE definitive Queen tribute

It’s hard to believe Queen released their most critically acclaimed, commercially successful and culturally influential LP – A Night at the Opera – 43 years ago now!

Their fourth studio album – released on 21 November 1975 – it was recognised for its innovations in music production, incorporating a wide range of styles, including ballads, songs in a music hall style, hard rock-tracks and progressive rock influences.

But also the album’s cover, helped no doubt by having onetime student of Ealing Art College, Freddie Mercury, in their ranks, was designed by Queen themselves. The iconic emblem, forever associated with the band, incorporated each member’s zodiac sign: two lions (drummer Roger Taylor and bassist John Deacon are Leos), two winged maidens (Mercury was a Virgo) and a crab (guitarist Brian May is a Cancer).

Initially given a modestly sized black-and-white reproduction on the rear sleeve of their debut album, a suitably regal full-colour version was splashed all over the front cover for ‘A Night at the Opera’. It is a truly stunning piece of art.

Introducing the Night at the Opera Stamp and Vinyl Frame

The Night at the Opera Stamp and Vinyl Frame is the definitive tribute to Queen; featuring the official Royal Mail Freddy Mercury stamp alongside a pristine, unplayed vinyl edition of the actual album.

Paired together, the stamp and classic vinyl album make a genuinely superb wall display. They give that iconic cover artwork the place it deserves – displayed like the piece of art it is – not hidden away on a shelf with all your other vinyl.

What’s more, your framed presentation has been hand-framed by a master framer with 30 years’ experience. For glaze, we opted to use premium acrylic rather than glass due to its lighter weight, strength and level of clarity. Your frame will arrive complete with a protective plastic film for the acrylic which can be peeled off prior to hanging.

A strictly limited edition

The Night at the Opera Stamp and Vinyl Frame has been strictly limited to just 250 editions worldwide. Queen remains to this day one of the most popular bands of all time, so it’s highly likely that this vinyl will sell out fast!
