Own a Canadian Mint first with a unique link to Britain

The Royal Canadian Mint has issued this coin in tribute to an official symbol of the highest order: the Great Seal of Canada.

Since the earliest days of their nation, Canada’s most important documents have been made official through its imprint. It signifies the power and authority of the Crown - Queen Elizabeth II - to the Canadian government.

The present Great Seal was made by the Royal Canadian Mint and bears the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the Coronation Chair in Westminster Abbey

It is made of steel, weighs 3.75kg and is 12.7cm in diameter. And now, to celebrate 150 years of confederation, it features on a coin for the very first time.

Each coin is expertly struck in 999/1000 Pure Silver to a pristine Proof finish, the highest grade of finish found on collectable coins.

But what’s more important is that this coin is the very first coin to feature both selective gold plating and ultra-high relief engraving.

Limited to just 6,000 pieces worldwide, your coin will arrive in a presentation case complete with its Royal Canadian Mint Certificate of Authenticity.

We have just 34 available for our collectors, so if you don’t want to miss out, you must act now. Click ‘add to basket’ now to secure yours today!
