For several years now, the Chinese demand for collectible coins has been skyrocketing. The Australian Mint produces huge numbers of “lunar” coins. Lunar coins celebrate the Chinese calendar. Each year is associated with a particular animal.

These so-called ‘Lunar’ coins have become something of an international phenomenon. Australia, Canada, and of course China sell millions of ounces of gold and silver coins each year inscribed with the lunar animal.

Since 2014, The Royal Mint has issued their own 1oz Silver Coin for the event. But the vast majority have been snapped by collectors in the Far East, making this a British coin very few British collectors could ever see – and even less will be able to own.

Brand new issue for 2018

This year the Royal Mint has released a brand new 1oz Silver lunar coin to mark the Year of the Dog and now you have the chance to secure your very own in a limited edition DateStamp™ tamper-proof capsule.

Each Year of the Dog coin has been struck from one full troy ounce of 999/1000 fine silver and features a striking Year of the Dog design created by artist Wuon-Gean Ho. The obverse carries a portrait of Her Majesty the Queen by Jody Clark.

What’s more, your DateStamp™ issue has been officially postmarked by Royal Mail with the date of Chinese New Year - 16th February 2018

Each DateStamp™ issue can also be identified by its own unique serial number. You can enter this number online to receive your very own free DateStamp™ Registration Certificate.

Just 72 issues remain

Importantly, just 72 of these DateStamp™ issues remain. With such a small edition limit, this issue is certain to sell fast. Especially when you consider last year’s 2017 DateStamp™ lunar coin, The Year of the Rooster, sold out in a matter of days.

Order yours today to ensure you do not miss out - don't forget, very few British collectors ever get to see this coin.
