An official new United Kingdom £2 has been issued to celebrate 75 years since VE-Day.
On 8th May 1945, Allied forces of WWII accepted the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany. The day came to be known as Victory in Europe Day, or VE Day for short. It ultimately signalled the end of the Second World War, and was without a doubt a world-changing event.
This new £2 coin has been struck by The Royal Mint to a pristine Brilliant Uncirculated finish. The design captures the celebrations that took place across Britain on VE Day.
Just 500 available worldwide
Thousands of the new Brilliant Uncirculated VE-Day £2 Coins will be struck by the Royal Mint, however only 500 will be available to own in this exclusive DateStamp™ Issue.
This provides you with an extremely limited way to own this new £2 coin. Your coin will be officially postmarked by Royal Mail with the date 08.05.2020 - exactly 75 years to the day since VE Day.
SELL-OUT expected - you'll need to be quick!
What’s more, each coin comes protectively sealed in a tamper-proof numismatic capsule with its own unique serial number so you can even register it online to receive your official DateStamp™ registration certificate.
Remember, because of the special one-day-only postmark, just 500 of these issues will ever be made available. DateStamp™ issues are always popular – last year’s D-Day DateStamp™ COMPLETELY SOLD OUT, so this issue is going to be available for long!
Don’t miss out, pre-order yours today!
