Own the NEW H.G. Wells UK £2 BU Pack

Nicknamed ‘The Father of Science Fiction’ H.G. Wells is one of Britain’s most celebrated authors.

And now The Royal Mint has issued a BRAND NEW UK £2 to honour his life and works on the 75th anniversary of his death.

Wells penned dozens of novels throughout his career. He is arguably best known for The Time Machine, The Invisible Man, and The War of the Worlds. Elements of these iconic novels are depicted in the £2 coin design by Chris Costello – in what’s the most controversial coin design of the year.

The striking design hit the headlines earlier this year when eagle-eyed collectors picked up on the additional leg featured on the Martian from Wells’ famed The War of the Worlds that are famously known as tripods!

Collectors do love an interesting story, so there is no doubt that now this coin has been issued individually that it will be highly sought-after.

This coin has been struck to Brilliant Uncirculated quality, so you know it will be free from any of the marks or blemishes you would find on coins in your change.

What’s more, it comes beautifully presented in stylish packaging from The Royal Mint and is available at The Royal Mint’s official issue price of JUST £10 (+p&p).
