Own the Last 2 Euro Coin Struck by The Royal Mint of Belgium

The Royal Mint of Belgium will be closing forever on 1st January 2018, after striking Belgian circulation and commemorative coins since 1832.

We have managed to get hold of a limited number of one of the last coins ever struck at the mint, to offer our collectors.

This special edition 2 euro coin celebrates the 200th anniversary of Ghent University, founded in 1817 by King William of The Netherlands.

The reverse was designed by Helmut Andexlinger, and features the grand column building used in the university’s logo, and the obverse features the typical 2 euro design of the denomination and a map of Europe.

Your coin will come presented in the official Belgium Mint packaging.
