In 2018, to mark the 250th anniversary of the first great voyage of Captain James Cook, The Royal Mint announced a three coin series. And now the third coin in the series has been released.
The design is beautiful and will ensure it is snapped up.
But there are 2 other distinct factors that we think makes this a great (if not essential) addition for your collection:
- It has a worldwide tiny edition limit of JUST 4,795. This is the SAME as the first two coins that have SOLD OUT at the Mint, and will make it highly sought-after. You’ll need to act swiftly to secure yours.
- This is the only way you can own this coin in Silver. The Mint has taken the unusual step of not issuing it in double-thickness Piedfort as they normally do.
Designed by Gary Breeze, this coin features the bow of Cook’s famous ship HM Bark Endeavour with a Maori canoe in close proximity. When Cook chartered the island of New Zealand on route to Australia, the Maori people gave their decorative paddles as gifts.
We have managed to secure a limited number for our collectors. But, as you can imagine, these will sail out quickly at the official Royal Mint price of just £67.50 (+p&p).
Each coin will arrive ready to display in its official Royal Mint presentation case with a certificate of authenticity.
Don’t miss the boat – secure yours today for the Royal Mint issue price of £67.50 (+p&p) by clicking ‘Add to Basket' now.
