Celebrate one of the rarest Royal anniversaries for JUST £14.99

In 2017, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh became the first British monarch and consort ever to mark their PLATINUM WEDDING ANNIVERSARY – an incredible 70 years of marriage.

Only around 60 couples in the whole of the UK ever reach that milestone each year. Or to put it another way – the Queen and Prince Philip are literally one in a million.

Given the likelihood that this occasion will never been seen again within our lifetime, the appetite for commemorative coins was astronomical and remains so today.

Inspired by The Queens wedding dress

This stunning superior Brilliant Uncirculated crown was officially approved by Her Majesty and Buckingham Palace. The intricate reverse design features patterning inspired from the lace of Her Majesty’s wedding gown that now sits on display for the public in Buckingham Palace, along with the inscription ’70 Platinum Wedding Anniversary’.

The dress itself has been a centrepiece for British fashion and was designed by Sir Norman Hartnell. Due to rationing measures in place following World War Two, clothing ration coupons had to be saved up to purchase the materials – including duchesse satin, pearl, crystal and transparent applique tulle embroidery.
