The historic BREXIT 50p Pair

The 31st January 2020 marked Britain’s departure from the European Union. And The Royal Mint released a special commemorative 50p to mark the significant moment.

But this isn’t the first time Britain’s relationship with the EU has been commemorated on coins.

Which is why today you have the chance to own the FIRST EVER Commemorative 50p, issued back in 1973 to commemorate Britain's entry into the EEC, alongside the BRAND NEW Brexit 50p!

In 1973, Britain was finally successful in its attempts to join the European Economic Community, known as the EEC. And to mark this important moment, The Royal Mint issued a 50p to celebrate the UK’s accession.

This coin now stands as a hugely significant issue in British history, but it also stands as an extremely important numismatic release. That’s because it was the FIRST EVER commemorative 50p!

The BRAND NEW Brexit 50p

The BRAND NEW Brexit 50p issued today is sure to become one of the most important issues in British history.

The final design features the inscription ‘Peace, prosperity and friendship with all nations’ and the historic date 31st January 2020 – the date the UK officially leaves the European Union.

Special limited presentation

Today you have the chance to own the coin that marked our entry into the European Union, alongside the Brexit 50p issued to mark our withdrawal.

Surely this is the ultimate set to mark Britain’s departure from the European Union. But only a limited number of coins have been put aside for this special presentation.

If only a fraction of those who voted in the 2016 referendum look to add this important commemorative to their collection, a sell-out is guaranteed. So you’ll need to be quick.
