Own the popular Winnie the Pooh 50p in superior Silver Proof quality

The Royal Mint has released a UK Silver Proof 50p featuring the beloved children’s book character Winnie the Pooh, created by A.A. Milne – the first coin in a classic 9-coin collection that will be released over 3 years.

Struck from .925 Silver to a pristine Proof finish, the coin features a nostalgic design by The Walt Disney Company that’s reminiscent of the classic illustrations by E.H. Shepard.

Sell-out on the cards

Importantly, JUST 18,000 single Winnie the Pooh Silver Proof 50ps have been issued worldwide.

This small number of coins is sure to sell-out. Especially as the edition limit is significantly LESS than the 25,000 edition limit of the SOLD OUT Gruffalo Silver Proof 50p!

Considering the global Winnie the Pooh fan-base, it’s expected that this issue will attract a lot of attention and we’re likely looking at another record-breaking sell-out.
