Our Lady of Europa Gibraltar 20p

This 20p features a design by Alfred Ryman of Our Lady of Europa at the Cathedral of St Mary the Crowned in Gibraltar.

Our Lady of Europa is the title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary as patroness of Gibraltar. In the early 14th Century it was believed that the whole of Europe was consecrated under the protection of Our Lady of Europa from the Shrine in Gibraltar. Devotion still continues today 700 years on at the shrine.

Low Mintage

Due to the significantly lower population of Gibraltar they have lower coinage mintages than typical coinage in the UK, which makes their coinage particularly sought after and collectible. Gibraltar coinage is also not legal tender in the UK making it especially hard to find this 20p in your change to add it to your collection.

You can secure this coin to your collection today for just £4 with FREE postage.
