The Royal Mint has just announced the release of a special set of 26 commemorative 10p coins for 2018. The theme is an A-Z of Great Britain.
Each 10p in the A-Z of Great Britain features a different letter to represent and celebrate different British landmarks and traditions.
W: World Wide Web – This 10p features the letter ‘W’ inside a spider’s web to represent the World Wide Web. It was invented by English scientist Tim Berners-Lee in 1989, and has since been central to the development of the information age.
These coins are the very first commemorative UK 10p coins issued by The Royal Mint and will be released into circulation during 2018.
But as I’m sure you can appreciate, it is impossible to guarantee you will be able to find the complete series, and with 26 different designs to find, I expect them to become almost impossible to track down.
Your 10p has been taken from the first production coins struck by The Royal Mint whilst the dies are in their very finest condition. It has then been protectively encapsulated in official Change Checker packaging directly from The Royal Mint to ensure its quality is preserved forever.
Avoid the long wait of finding this coin in your change and order today!
