2019 Australian Sixth Effigy QEII $1 Coin

In 2019, the Royal Australian Mint will welcome a new portrait of Her Majesty the Queen on Australia coins.

As the sixth portrait design issued for Australian coins, Clark's design will replace the 1998 effigy of the Queen by Ian Rank-Broadley.

Jody Clark's unusual design breaks from the traditional UK design by also including the Queen's shoulders and the Victorian coronation necklace.

Both the old and new portraits feature on the 2019 $1 coin, making for a striking comparison which continues the story of Her Majesty's unprecedented reign and lifetime.

You can now add this coin from the new effigy era to your collection for just £21.99. But hurry as we expect this coin to be very popular amongst coin collectors!
