2000 UK Queen Mother Centenary £5 Coin

In anticipation of the 100th birthday of HM the Queen Mother several countries released centenary coins as soon as she entered her 100th year in 2000.

The Royal Mint issued a £5 coin wholly designed by popular sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley.

The reverse features a left-facing profile of the Queen Mother wearing a diamond tiara with her signature beneath. This was the very first time this had appeared on a British Coin.

Your £5 will come protectively encapsulated in the Official Change Checker Packaging, so you can preserve this historic coin, celebrating an impressive milestone, for generations to come.
