coin features a design on the reverse by Laura Clancy, symbolic of
the resilient and determined poppies that grew amidst the chaos in
the valley of the Somme.
The coin
also features selected colour
printing highlighting the vibrant red poppy design
that serves as a reminder of the brave men and
women who have lost their lives or have been injured
in conflicts past and present.
