In recognition of Prince Philip’s life of service and dedication, we are releasing the limited edition Prince Philip Memorial Capsule Edition Set featuring official Royal Mail In Memoriam Prince Philip Stamps alongside the UK £5 coin originally struck by The Royal Mint to mark the Duke of Edinburgh's retirement from public service in 2017.

Featuring Official Royal Mail In Memoriam Prince Philip Stamps

The four stamps feature Prince Philip from over the years. The snapshots of the Prince’s life feature his attendance of the passing out parade of Prince Andrew at Dartmouth Naval College, and another of the Prince at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Importantly, each stamp will be postmarked with the first day of issue - 24th June 2021. The one-day-only postmark guarantees this edition limit - no more will ever be released.

The UK £5 coin and stamps have been encapsulated to protect and preserve their condition for years to come. The commemorative set sits within an exclusive presentation case, complete with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.

Just 995 commemorative sets have been issued worldwide, and the coin is no longer available from the Mint, making this set one of the most limited ways to honour the life of Prince Philip.
