As part of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Coin Programme, the Royal Mint has released a coin that will finally put to rest the age old offside debate.
This new 50 pence coin, designed by Neil Wolfson, uses a simple graphical representation of the pitch to cleverly explain the offside rule.
If you are lucky, you may find one in your change when you are down the pub debating the match but unfortunately only limited numbers will ever be released into circulation, so you will have to scour your change.
Alternatively, you could own a limited edition silver collector version today!
Your 2011 United Kingdom Silver Football 50p has been struck to a Brilliant Uncirculated Finish in Sterling Silver and is the perfect gift for children and adults alike to commemorate the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Strictly limited to just 30,000 worldwide, your coin will come in it's own protective capsule and Royal Mint Certificate.
